I retired in February from a career in communications and marketing. Following a series of medical maladies, my husband has joined me in retirement two years earlier than planned. We decided to leave the cold winters of Iowa, sold our farm, and have purchased a home in The Villages in central Florida. It’s a large gated retirement community and we have friends who live there. We look forward to getting back to many of the past times we haven’t been able to enjoy due to busy work schedules. We depart Iowa in late September and will travel via our RV, so taking our time to get there. I’ll be sure Dave gets our new address. We’re just an hour from Disneyworld and about 90 minutes from Tampa and the beautiful beaches of Clearwater, so keep us in mind for a visit if you’re in the area.
